Annual Dinner and Dance
The South Wales Branch Dinner
and Dance was held on the 26th November at the Marriott Hotel
Cardiff. The dinner was successful as ever with 284 members and guest
attending.
Guests of the branch for the
evening were Martin Isles (Deputy Chairman of the IoQ) and his partner
Christina, Kevin Sargent (Chairman of the West of England Branch) and his
partner Juliette, and Phil Westaway (Chairman of the Devon and Cornwall
Branch) and his partner Paula.
A presentation was going to be
made to Rob Pearce at the dinner for his contribution to the branch as he
has had to resign from the committee due to him moving to a job in
Plymouth. Unfortunately Rob could not attend the dinner due to illness;
but the branch would like to express their sincere thanks to him for all
of the hard work he has put in over the years as a committee member.
